DAY 01 : CHENNAI
On arrival at Chennai, the travelmartindia.com
representative will meet honored guests to India
and assist with your transfer to the hotel. The
afternoon begins with a City tour of Chennai and
major highlights includes viewing some of India's
oldest British monuments, including Fort St George,
the Garrison Church of St.Mary's and the oldest
Anglican Church in India. Overnight stay is pre-arranged
at the Hotel.

DAY
02 : CHENNAI
Full-day excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram.
Visit Kanchipuram, one of the most sacred cities
in India and famous for its fine fabrics and saris
(the whole nine yards refers to this traditional
Indian women's wear length of rich woven fabric
with hints of gold thread). Later proceed to Mahabalipuram,
once the capital of the Pallava Kings and catch
a glimpse of the city's fascinating temples before
returning to Chennai in the evening for an overnight
stay at the Hotel.

DAY
03 : CHENNAI - THANJAVUR
In the morning, transfer to Chennai airport for
your flight to Tiruchirappalli (Trichy). On arrival,
visit the Rock Fort Temple and St Joseph's College
in Trichy. Drive onward to Thanjavur (2hrs drive)
and upon arrival at Thanjavur, check-in to your
hotel for an overnight stay.

04 : THANJAVUR
Capital of the Chola Kings and home to 93 temples,
a visit the 'Big Temple' gives visitors to India
a chance to see the true cultural heritage of
this ancient city whereas outside Tanjore, the
journey continues with a visit to other magnificent
temple complexes at Gangaikondacholapuram &

05 : THANJAVUR - MADURAI (approx. 163kms / 04hrs)
A morning drive to Madurai is easy enough before
the day's activities take over: these include
a check-in to your hotel at Madurai, evening visit

ancient Tirumala Nayak Palace before returning
to the hotel for an overnight stay.

06 : MADURAI - THEKKADY ( approx. 150kms / 04hrs)
Early morning drive to Thekkady is arranged through
picturesque rice fields and tea plantations so

Morning heralds the plan for driving down to
Kovalam; arrival requires guests to check-in to

Morning begins with a Half-day city tour of Thiruvananthapuram
(Trivandrum) and visits to the Padmanabhaswamy
Temple, Zoological Gardens and Aquarium while
